The Operations Manager - Cleaning is a pivotal role ensuring our high standards and efficiency in operations are met. Cleaning Operations Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the Cleaning department, focusing on innovative ideas to enhance departmental effectiveness and productivity.
Optimize production processes and recommend technological improvements to ensure organizational success.
Take full responsibility for the Cleaning operations in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring all targets and deliverables are met efficiently.
Financial & Budget Management:
Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to prepare budget analyses and reports that comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Identify financial trends, adjust expenses, and seek opportunities to increase revenue while enhancing operational efficiency.
Develop and manage the organization's budget, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and optimization of resources.
Management Supervision and Employee Relations:
Oversee employee performance management, including expectations, job duties, and compensation programs in accordance with legal requirements and best practices.
Address employee development, training, and discipline issues while fostering a positive work environment that promotes engagement and productivity.
Take charge of all employee relations matters in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring effective communication and support.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure the safety and compliance of all Cleaning operations, implementing best practices to maintain a secure work environment.
Document all relevant internal procedures, ensuring controlled documents, processes, and work instructions are consistently updated and followed.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
Lead continuous improvement efforts by collaborating with technical experts across departments to enhance cleaning procedures, processes, and systems.
Identify potential optimization opportunities within production processes and make informed recommendations for procedural improvements.
Reporting and Communication:
Provide comprehensive reports to the CEO on departmental health and the overall state of Cleaning operations, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Address and resolve any operational issues promptly, ensuring effective communication across the organization.
Leadership in General Manager’s Absence:
Assume overall responsibility for organizational management in the absence of the General Manager, maintaining operational continuity and team leadership.

Travel Requirements:
This position requires international travel to our headquarters in Germany for up to three months of initial training. Following training, you can expect occasional travel of up to one week and a half at a time, totaling approximately one month within a 12-month period. Flexibility and readiness to travel are essential for collaboration and alignment with our global operations.
Work Environment:
This position is based in a fast-paced office environment.
While regular travel is not expected, occasional travel may be required for business events and meetings.
The role involves sitting for extended periods, standing, and requires visual acuity, manual dexterity, detailed verbal communication, and proficiency with computer keyboards.
You will work in a manufacturing environment with equipment, robotics, and chemicals. Adherence to required attire/uniforms/clean suits is necessary.
Be prepared to encounter wet surfaces, noise, and moving machines, which require attention to detail and cleanliness.
